Episode 29 – Eli Cayer from Urban Farm Fermentory

Today’s Guest: Eli Cayer

Eli Cayer is definitely one of the most down-to-earth and interesting owners that we have talked to on the podcast. He runs the Urban Farm Fermentory and Gruit Brewing Co in Portland, Maine, and he does his best to bring the local ingredients into the products he produces. In this first half of the interview, we talk about how Eli got started in fermenting, foraging for ingredients, and all five types of beverages they are creating. Be sure to come back next week to hear the conclusion of our conversation.
